Information guide for the LifeTrak C300 activity tracker — band replacement, calorie/step/heart-rate tips, care, battery, specifications, and warranty.

    Overview

The LifeTrak C300 is a wrist-worn activity tracker that measures steps, distance, all-day and exercise calories, and heart rate, with a 7-day memory and up to 30 meters of water resistance.

    How to Change Your Bands

    1. Carefully slide the bands off the case (bands slide in either direction).
    2. On the short (top) band, remove the clasp plate by pulling up and away from the band.
    3. Place the clasp on the reverse side of the band into the two holes and press firmly around both holes until it snaps in place. Make sure the base of the clasp pins is fully secured.
    4. For a more refined fit, the clasp can be rotated before placing it into the band.
    5. Carefully slide the bands back onto the case (either direction).

C300 bands are available in a variety of colors — visit LifeTrakUSA.com.

    All-Day Calorie Tracking

The C300 provides a comprehensive calorie count by factoring in calories burned through everyday living, in addition to exercise and activity, and by incorporating heart rate readings for greater accuracy.

    • Your body is always burning calories, even at rest — the All-Day Calorie tracker accounts for this.
    • You may see calories accumulate even when not wearing the C300 — this reflects your body's typical baseline burn.

    Step Count Tips

The C300 uses auto-calibrated distance, adjusting stride length based on walking/running speed. If you're having difficulty getting accurate step counts:

    • Take 30–40 steps before checking the step count.
    • If steps are over- or under-counted, adjust the step calibration setting.
    • Step count is based on actual steps — arm motion can affect the count.

    Heart Rate Tips

    • Make sure the C300 is snugly strapped to your wrist — a loose fit makes measurement harder.
    • Allow a one-minute warm-up the first time you put it on before checking heart rate.
    • Touch the heart sensor button (VIEW) with the soft, flat pads of your fingers, not the tips.
    • Use gentle, sufficient pressure — pressing too hard can make measurement difficult.
    • The back metal plate must lay flat against your skin.
    • Keep your wrist and fingers clean and free of dirt, oils, or lotions.
    • Clean the heart sensor button and back metal plate with mild soap and water.
    • Moisten the fingers you'll use to touch the sensor, and moisten the skin/back-plate contact area with water.

    Care & Maintenance

    • Buttons are not intended for use in or under water — this may cause water leakage.
    • Avoid rough usage or severe impacts.
    • Keep the heart sensor button and back metal plate free from dirt, oils, or other contaminants.
    • Periodically clean with a soft cloth and mild soap and water.
    • Keep out of extreme heat, cold, and intense direct sunlight for long periods.
    • Do not expose to chemicals such as gasoline, alcohol, or solvents.

    Battery Replacement

Replace the battery when the display fades (in part or completely) or the heart rate function won't activate. Battery life varies with usage. The C300 uses one standard lithium CR2032 battery. Because replacement can compromise water seals, replacement by a watch repair service center is recommended.
