Overview

Product bulletin for Leviton's USB Charger Devices — a line including the 4-Port USB Charger (Cat. No. USB4P) and the T5630/T5830 USB Charger/Tamper-Resistant Receptacles. All feature a smart chip that recognizes and optimizes charging power for connected devices.

T5830 — 20A USB Charger/Tamper-Resistant Receptacle

• Two vertical USB ports, 2.1A charging capacity, smart chip
• 20A Tamper-Resistant outlet for improved safety
• Back and side wired for easy installation; UL Listed

Note: The T5630 and T5830 have one standard and one high-power USB port and are not intended to charge two tablets simultaneously via USB — if combined device power demand exceeds capacity, the charger will shut down automatically to protect connected devices. To charge two tablets at once, use the high-power USB port plus the TR receptacle.
