    Application

These duplex receptacles provide hard-wired, point-of-use surge protection for electronic equipment on 15A and 20A, 125V branch circuits. Available in conventional ground and Isolated Ground (-IG) versions. MOV-based circuitry protects normal and common modes (phase-neutral, phase-ground, and neutral-ground). The 5280/5380 series has an LED status indicator; the 7280/7380 series adds an audible alarm (which can be disabled via a set-screw under a removable label on the device face).

Tested to ANSI/IEEE C62.41 standards for Category A and B environments, UL 1449 (2nd Edition) Listed, and backed by Leviton's Limited Ten-Year Warranty.
