    Product specifications for the Leviton 14" & 21" Structured Media® Enclosures (47605-14x, 47605-21x) — a central distribution point for home or small office voice, data, video, audio, security, and control wiring.

    Application

    These enclosures make running cable and managing media both simple and cost-effective, providing a central distribution hub for structured wiring throughout a home or office.

    Features

    • Bottom cutout pattern accommodates the same AC power modules and DC power supplies used in the 28" and 42" enclosures
    • Mounting slots simplify adjustment for different drywall depths, with drywall depth marks (1/2", 5/8", 3/4") for easy alignment
    • Can be surface or flush mounted
    • Optional Flush-Mount Cover overlaps 3/4" to hide uneven drywall cuts around the enclosure
    • Ships with a cardboard insert to keep drywall debris/paint overspray out during rough-in
    • Multiple top/bottom knockouts support conduit up to 2" in diameter for cable routing
    • Self-healing foam grommets protect cable bundles and block dust

    Important Notes

    • Flush mounting should precede drywall installation
    • Not intended for firewall applications
    • Premium Hinged Vented Doors recommended when using active equipment inside the enclosure

    Specification Summary

    One-piece boxes (excluding cover), made of 20-gauge white powder-coated steel. Flush mount with four provided wood screws on standard 16" center wall studs before drywall, or surface mount after drywall installation. Each enclosure has a cutout for a single-gang J-Box power module, AC power module, or Mini/Universal DC power supply. cULus Listed; complies with ANSI/TIA-568-C, ANSI/TIA-570-B, and ANSI/TIA-607 standards.
