    Safety Warnings

To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always disconnect power at the service panel before beginning work. When replacing an existing device, label wires before disconnecting the old device.

Failure to connect the ground wire will result in an unsafe installation that could lead to personal injury.

    Installation Steps

    1. Cut wires and strip insulation using the stripping guide on the back of the device. Use copper conductors only.
    2. Connect the switch/dimmer ground wire to the bare ground wire in the electrical box or mud ring. Pre-fold ground wires into the back of the box.
    3. Single load wiring: connect white wire to WHITE, black wire to HOT, red wire to LOAD.
    4. Insert wires into terminals and tighten screws securely — do NOT over-tighten (torque to 10 in-lbs).
    5. If installing multiple devices in one box, wire all devices before installing them into the box.
    6. Carefully fold wires into the electrical box (or mud ring) and secure the device(s) into the box with the provided screws.
    7. For screwless wall plates: install the back plate with the provided screws and snap the wall plate into place. For screw-type wall plates, simply screw the wall plate into place over the device.

    Wiring Warning

Do not pair different-size wires in the same terminal. If wire gauges differ, use a wire nut to add a 6-inch pigtail of the same gauge as the smaller wire before connecting.

    Tips

    • Pre-fold all other wires into the wall box to make it easier to fit them in the box when the device is connected.

    New Installation

    1. Ensure all device status LEDs are solid AMBER.
    2. Press and hold any dimmer/switch On Button for 5 seconds, then release — the initiator's LED flashes AMBER, other devices' LEDs flash GREEN.
    3. Press and hold the initiator's On Button for 5 seconds, then release — both LEDs flash GREEN for 2 seconds and turn solid WHITE.

Adding a Device to an Existing Installation

    1. Confirm the new device's LED is solid AMBER (others solid WHITE).
    2. Press and hold any already-bound dimmer/switch (WHITE LED) On Button for 5 seconds and release — initiator LED flashes AMBER, new device flashes GREEN.
    3. Press and hold the initiator's On Button for 5 seconds and release — both flash GREEN for 2 seconds then turn solid WHITE.

    Groups (Wireless 3-Way/4-Way)

Creating a new group: ensure all potential members' LEDs are solid WHITE. Press and hold each potential group member's On Button for 5 seconds until its LED flashes AMBER. Then press and hold the initiator's On Button for 5 seconds — all LEDs flash GREEN for 2 seconds and turn solid WHITE.

Adding/removing a device: press and hold any existing group device's On Button for 5 seconds — current group members flash AMBER, non-group devices flash GREEN. Press and hold any device's On Button for 5 seconds so its LED flashes AMBER (join) or GREEN (leave), then press and hold the initiator's On Button for 5 seconds to confirm.

    Operation

    Device Action Result

Dimmer Hold Off 2 sec From On: off at a slow 30-second ramp rate
Dimmer Press/release Paddle (+) Off→last level at 2-sec ramp; On: +2% per tap
Dimmer Double tap Paddle (+) Off→Full On at 1-sec ramp; On: +4%
Dimmer Hold Paddle (+) Increases level at 5-second ramp rate
Dimmer Press/release Paddle (−) On: −2% per tap
Dimmer Double tap Paddle (−) On: −4%
Dimmer Hold Paddle (−) Decreases level at 5-second ramp rate

    Fault Operation

    • Status LED blinking RED 1x/second = No load
    • Status LED blinking RED 2x/second = Over current
    • Status LED blinking RED 3x/second = Short circuit

    Factory Reset

Press and hold the On Button for 20 seconds — status LED goes to solid AMBER.

    Custom Setting Initiation (Switches)

With all device LEDs solid WHITE, press and hold any switch's On Button for 10 seconds and release — the initiator's LED flashes GREEN or RED depending on the existing setting, with blink count indicating the custom setting selection. Press and release to change selections; blink color indicates status (GREEN = Locator On, RED = Locator Off). Press and hold the initiator's On Button for >2 seconds to exit, or wait for the 60-second timeout.
