    Full text manual (for reference)

Installation instructions for the Legrand radiant LC2102 Wireless Master Dimmer, a 600W incandescent/halogen dimmer for standard 2-wire installations, compatible with the radiant wireless lighting control system.

    Ratings & Compliance

    • 120VAC, 60Hz only — do not connect to any other power source
    • Maximum load: 600W incandescent/halogen; minimum load: 50W
    • Do NOT use with a receptacle, fluorescent light/bulb, motor-operated appliance, or transformer-supplied appliance — risk of overheating and equipment damage
    • FCC ID: YV8-202860; Canadian IC: 9922A-202860. Complies with FCC Part 15 and Industry Canada RSS standards.

    Safety Warning

To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always disconnect power at the service panel before beginning work. When replacing an existing device, label wires before disconnecting the old device.

    Installation Steps

    1. Cut wires and strip insulation using the stripping guide on the back of the device. Use copper conductors only.
    2. Multi-gang installations: break off the specified heat-sink fins with pliers as shown to de-rate the dimmer for shared-box installs (see de-rating table below).
    3. Connect the new device: single load wiring — connect black wire to HOT, other wire to LOAD. Insert wires into terminals and tighten screws securely (do NOT over-tighten — torque to 10 in-lbs).
    4. If installing multiple devices in one box, wire all devices before installing them into the box.
    5. Carefully fold wires into the electrical box (or mud ring) and secure the device(s) into the box with the provided screws.
    6. For screwless wall plates: install the back plate with the provided screws and snap the wall plate into place. For screw-type wall plates, simply screw the wall plate into place over the device.

    Multi-Gang De-Rating Table

Rated Load 2-Gang Installation 3-Gang Installation
    600W 500W / 500W 500W / 400W / 500W

    Wiring Warning

Do not pair different-size wires in the same terminal. If wire gauges differ, use a wire nut to add a 6-inch pigtail of the same gauge as the smaller wire before connecting.

    New Installation

    1. Ensure all device status LEDs are solid AMBER.
    2. Press and hold any dimmer/switch On Button for 5 seconds, then release — the initiator's status LED flashes AMBER, other devices' LEDs flash GREEN.
    3. Press and hold the initiator's On Button for 5 seconds, then release — the initiator and other devices' LEDs flash GREEN for 2 seconds and turn solid WHITE.

Adding a Device to an Existing Installation

    1. Confirm the new device's LED is solid AMBER (others solid WHITE).
    2. Press and hold any already-bound dimmer/switch (WHITE LED) On Button for 5 seconds and release — initiator LED flashes AMBER, new device LED flashes GREEN.
    3. Press and hold the initiator's On Button for 5 seconds and release — both LEDs flash GREEN for 2 seconds then turn solid WHITE.

    Groups (Wireless 3-Way/4-Way)

Creating a new group: ensure all potential members' LEDs are solid WHITE. Press and hold each potential group member's On Button for 5 seconds until its LED flashes AMBER. Then press and hold the initiator's On Button for 5 seconds — all LEDs flash GREEN for 2 seconds and turn solid WHITE.

Adding/removing a device: press and hold any existing group device's On Button for 5 seconds — current group members flash AMBER, non-group devices flash GREEN. Press and hold any device's On Button for 5 seconds so its LED flashes AMBER (join) or GREEN (leave), then press and hold the initiator's On Button for 5 seconds to confirm.
