The IDEAL LIFE Body Manager Plus is a bodyweight scale that measures weight and automatically sends the reading to a user's healthcare team. Sudden weight gain is a known warning sign for heart patients that can lead to emergency room visits or hospital admission. Daily monitoring with the Body Manager Plus can detect weight fluctuations and alert a healthcare team to intervene before serious problems develop. IDEAL LIFE's monitoring program has been shown to reduce hospital re-admissions by 57%.

Obese patients often face compliance challenges or lack the mobility to attend support groups, doctor visits, or weight-loss programs. The Body Manager Plus also facilitates two-way communication between patients and providers — such as motivational text messages or nutritional tips — bringing the benefits of a personal health coach or weight-loss support group into the comfort of the user's own home.

How It Works

1. Select your communication gateway:
   • With in-home access to a landline or the internet — use the IDEAL LIFE Pod™ to communicate with any of IDEAL LIFE's wireless devices.
   • Without in-home landline/internet access — use cellular connectivity.
   • For easy, on-the-go use — the IDEAL LIFE App™, IDEAL LIFE Health Tablet™, or IDEAL LIFE Kiosk™ can all be used.
2. Take a reading: Information is automatically saved and transmitted to a secure information management system — no personal computer, cumbersome wires, or manual data entry needed.
3. Receive feedback from caregivers: A healthcare team — physicians, nurses, and/or family members — can access the readings and assist with healthcare decisions.
