Instruction manual for the Home Automation, Inc. (HAI) Model 95A05-1 Hi-Fi Remote Control, used to control a whole-house audio Volume-Source Control (VSC) zone.

    Full text manual (for reference)

The Home Automation, Inc. (HAI) Model 95A05-1 Hi-Fi Remote Control is a handheld IR remote used to control a whole-house audio Volume-Source Control (VSC) module, which in turn relays commands to the connected Hi-Fi processor.

    Description

The 95A05-1 sends IR signals to a VSC for a given audio zone. The VSC forwards those signals to the Hi-Fi processor, which can toggle mute, adjust volume up/down, change audio source, toggle zone power, and send basic transport control (play/pause, previous/next track) to supported audio sources.

    Using the Remote Control

Point the remote at the VSC for the audio zone you want to control, then press the desired button:

    Button Function
Power Turns the respective audio zone on and off.
Mute Turns mute on and off in the respective audio zone.
Previous Plays the previous track on supported sources.
Next Plays the next track on supported sources.
Play/Pause Toggles between play and pause on supported sources.
