    Overview

    The Global Caché GC-100 Network Adapters IP-enable Infrared (IR), Serial (RS-232), and Relay devices, plus sensor input, allowing them to be monitored and controlled over an IP network from a PC or other computing device running control software.

    Relay Controlled Switch controlled on/off, contact closure, lights, curtain, pool, irrigation
    IR Controlled 30 KHz–500 KHz devices — audio, video, DVD
    Sensor Input Video signal sensor, AC/DC power presence, contact closure

    Ports (GC-100-12)

    • PWR — power input
    • LAN — Ethernet connection to the IP network
    • Serial — RS-232 connectivity for TV, AV, HVAC, or security devices
    • Relay — contact-closure relay outputs for switches, lights, curtains, pool/irrigation equipment
    • IR or Sensor — IR blaster output for A/V control, or sensor input for video, power presence, and contact closure monitoring
