  • Global Caché Flex Link Relay & Sensor Cable (GCFLCRS) — Technical Specifications

    September 08, 2026 2 min read

Technical specification sheet for the Global Caché Flex Link Relay & Sensor Cable (GCFLCRS), part of the iTach Flex smart end-point ecosystem.

    Full text manual (for reference)

    Overview

The Global Caché iTach Flex is a smart end-point that connects almost any electrical device to a WiFi or wired TCP/IP network so it can be controlled and automated. Using Global Caché's plug-and-play Flex Link Cables, the Flex adds intelligence to devices that aren't natively IP-enabled by connecting them to the automation and control software of your choice. The Flex also supports HTTP for web-browser control from anywhere on the network.

The Flex Link Relay & Sensor Cable is one such Flex Link cable — an input/output cable providing relay outputs and sensor inputs for controlling and monitoring a variety of devices. External devices connect via push-release terminal blocks, and the enclosure mounts directly on a DIN rail for simple integration with external relays.

    Example Applications

    • Wired: DVD players, flat panel TVs, remote controls, stereo components, cable boxes
    • WiFi: Speakers, TVs, computers, motorized window shades
    • Flex Link Cables: Motorized window shades, pool and spa, lighting, garage doors, A/V equipment

    Other Available Flex Link Cables

    • Serial
    • IR Blaster
    • IR Emitter
    • 3 IR Emitter
    • 2 Emitter 1 Blaster
    • IR Tri-port
