    Specification sheet for Foard Systems Design's FGI Octal Input / Quad Relay Output devices (FG-032060 non-latching, FG-032061 latching) — home automation interface modules with eight switch inputs and four sets of DPDT relay outputs.

    Overview

    FGI Octal Input / Quad Relay Output devices provide eight switch-level inputs plus four sets of DPDT (double-pole, double-throw) relay outputs, available in latching or non-latching versions. Non-latching relays are less expensive but consume significant power while activated, so a system with many non-latching relay devices needs additional power — which can be supplied via an FGI hub device. The FSD X10/UPB/FGI Bridge can power one quad non-latching relay device plus other sensors. Non-latching relays only consume coil power when changing state, so multiple non-latching quad-relay devices can be used in a system with less concern for power draw.
