Overview

The C1M1 Dual-Path Alarm Communicators connect directly to the M1 Control, eliminating delays from dial capture, data bus decoding, and cloud servers. Transmissions automatically use the best available pathway (IP or cellular) for the fastest, most reliable communications to central monitoring stations. Periodic tests run over both pathways to confirm reliability, and the C1M1 can automatically report a pathway outage over the remaining pathway.

Remote Access

C1M1 eliminates port forwarding and extra fees for remote access. Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as the eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through the C1M1. The C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events.

Remote Antenna Option (ELK-WA003)

The C1M1 must be mounted in the M1 enclosure to meet UL requirements and provide a more secure installation. For installations where cellular signal is poor at the enclosure location, a remote antenna can be installed in place of the stubby antenna.
