    Spec sheet for DataComm Electronics' Easy Mount Recessed Low Voltage Cable Plates (45-0008 & 45-0009) — designed to install without needing a separate low voltage mounting plate or old-work mud ring.

    Overview

    The Easy Mount Recessed Low Voltage Cable Plate has mounting wings molded directly into the wall plate, which fasten tightly against the back of the drywall — eliminating the need for a separate low voltage mounting plate or old work mud ring. The Slim Fit version (45-0009) is designed specifically for concrete wall applications where drywall is hung on 1x4 furring strips.

    Use these plates to install low voltage cables behind a flat panel TV, amplifier, or other audio/video devices. The wall plate can be installed upright or upside down.

    Important Safety Notice

    These recessed cable plates are designed for use with low voltage / data cables ONLY. Do not run or pull the TV power cord or other electrical cords inside the drywall — the National Electrical Code (NEC) does not allow installation of a TV power cord or extension cord behind the wall.
