    Full text manual (for reference)

Installation instructions for DataComm Electronics' 45-0001, 45-0002 and 45-0003 recessed low voltage cable plates — used to install and hide low voltage cables (audio/video, data) behind a flat panel TV, amplifier, or other A/V equipment.

    Overview

The 45-0001 (2-gang), 45-0002 (3-gang), and 45-0003 (1-gang) recessed low voltage cable plates are designed for use with low voltage / data cables only — not for electrical power wiring. They're built to work with standard 1-gang, 2-gang, and 3-gang low voltage mounting plate brackets from any major manufacturer (e.g. Caddy or Carlon). Each plate can be installed upright or upside down; install upside down when mounting behind a flat panel TV.

    Installation Steps

    1. Determine the mounting location for your flat panel TV, amplifier, or A/V device.
    2. Cut a hole in the wall and install the low voltage mounting plate bracket.
    3. Pull your low voltage cables through the mounted bracket, then through the DataComm recessed low voltage cable plate.
    4. Insert the recessed cable plate into the mounted bracket and secure tightly with the supplied cable plate screws.
