Overview

The ClearSounds ClearPower Battery Back-Up & Portable Charging Unit (CP12BB) keeps your amplified or standard landline phone powered during an outage, and doubles as a portable USB charger for phones and tablets. It's designed to maintain all of a phone's features — amplification, tone controls, answering machine, cordless transmission — without interruption.

What It Does

For any telephone with AC power, ClearPower serves as a battery back-up during a power outage — up to three days of back-up power for an amplified landline phone (more for phones with fewer features). The LED screen shows remaining battery life. It's compatible with all ClearSounds Amplified Telephones as well as other amplified and standard landline phones.

As a portable charging unit, ClearPower can charge a tablet twice (or two tablets simultaneously), or a smartphone up to four times (or two smartphones simultaneously, twice) before needing a recharge. Most dual-jack portable chargers don't offer 2.0A output on both jacks, which makes charging two tablets at once impossible — ClearPower does.
