Overview

The P-2044 allows up to four different audio sources to be played independently in four different zones simultaneously, making it well suited for households with varied listening interests. Source-specific IR repeating lets you control identical source components independently — for example, two identical CD players can be operated separately even though they're the same model.

Typical Application

In a standard installation, the P-2044 connects via CAT5 to an A0313 wall-mount source hub and an A0125 IR sensor/keypad. Speaker outputs run through an A0240 amplifier module to 16/4 speaker wire, with an Amp-Link cable delivering line-level audio to the A0240 and returning amplified audio to an A0302 volume control. A0302 can also link to remote room controls (e.g. IW601) via 3-conductor wire or CAT5.
