Complete technical datasheet for the Bellman & Symfon Mino professional personal amplifier (BE2030) — a pocket-size digital speech amplifier with zoom microphone and telecoil.

    Overview

The Mino is a professional speech amplifier that helps you hear better in most everyday situations, whether you wear a hearing aid or just experience occasional hearing difficulty. It uses digital state-of-the-art signal processing to bring out speech in difficult listening situations, delivering crystal-clear stereo sound free from background noise and feedback.

    Key Features

    • Digital signal processing: crystal-clear stereo sound with background-noise and feedback reduction
    • Pocket size and super light: as small as a modern cellphone, weighs just 2½ oz — fits discreetly in a pocket
    • Zoom microphone: combines an omnidirectional and a unidirectional (zoom) microphone; "point" toward the speaker to reduce background noise
    • Telecoil: picks up sound in venues fitted with hearing loop systems (theaters, churches, concert halls)
    • Easy to use — all functions accessed with a single button press, no complicated menus
    • Long-lasting rechargeable lithium-ion battery, just like a modern cellphone
    • Boosts a connected hearing aid via neck loop, acting as an additional volume/tone control
