Product overview for the Bellman & Symfon Audio Domino personal hearing system — a wireless transmitter/receiver system with directional "Remote Zoom" microphones that brings out speech in restaurants, cars, meetings, and more.

    Overview

Bellman Audio Domino is a personal hearing system that uses digital, state-of-the-art sound processing and wireless wideband technology to bring out speech in difficult listening situations. It delivers crystal-clear stereo sound, free from background noise and feedback, with no risk of eavesdropping. This model builds on the Domino Classic with omnidirectional and directional ("Remote Zoom") microphones on both transmitter and receiver, controllable directly from the receiver unit.

    Key Features

    • High-Definition Audio: all-digital streaming for crystal-clear stereo sound with outstanding clarity
    • Wireless Secure Encryption: digital encryption technology makes eavesdropping impossible
    • Easy Connect: one-touch operation; connects to TV, stereo, or MP3 player
    • Remote Zoom: omnidirectional and directional microphones on transmitter and receiver, adjustable from the receiver
    • Global Frequency Standard: 2.4 GHz frequency standard usable anywhere in the world
    • Worldwide Warranty: two-year warranty, designed by Bellman & Symfon of Sweden

    How It Works

The Domino system consists of a transmitter and receiver, each equipped with state-of-the-art microphones. Sound is picked up and converted to digital data; speech is clarified and background noise eliminated. The sound streams over an encrypted wireless radio link from transmitter to receiver, which also has a stereo input for streaming high-quality audio from a TV, MP3 player, or stereo system. The receiver amplifies sound to headphones, earphones, or a neck loop, with full control of both units from the receiver.

    Use Cases

    • At work: place a microphone near the sound source and enable directional microphones from the receiver for extra clarity in intense discussions
    • At school: hear the teacher's voice clearly from the back of the room; enable push-to-listen to also pick up a nearby schoolmate
    • In restaurants: Domino's directional microphone strategy lowers background noise and focuses on the conversation at your table
    • In the car: place the transmitter on the person you want to hear to overcome road, wind, and engine noise
    • At home: connect the transmitter to the TV for full stereo sound at comfortable volume; mix in receiver microphones to talk with a partner
