Instructions for programming Smart Tags and K9 Tags to the RFID Sensor Box on an AutoSlide automatic door system.
Instructions for programming Smart Tags (and K9 Tags) to the RFID Sensor Box on an Autoslide automatic pet/sliding door system.
If you haven't already, program Pet Mode for a set "pet width." Do this by flipping dip switch 3 on and off. When the door opens and reaches the desired position, brace the door in place until it changes direction — the door does not need to be braced again after that.
Capacity note: Each RFID Sensor Box holds a maximum of 4 tags at once. Sensor boxes purchased before early 2019 reliably support only up to 3 tags.
Press and hold the tag's button, then release based on the number of flashes: release after one flash for 3 ft. range, two flashes for 6 ft. range, or three flashes for 10 ft. range.
Go through the programming process again and press all tags you want active on the system (previously-paired tags not re-pressed will be dropped). Remember the system reliably supports only up to 3 tags in practice.
Each tag uses one CR2032 battery (life depends on usage). A 1/16" screwdriver is recommended for battery replacement.
