Specification sheet for Arlington Industries' non-metallic weatherproof keypad enclosures — surface-mount models DBK88C, DBK88W, DBK55C, and DBK55W. These covers turn an exterior alarm/access-control keypad (that isn't itself weatherproof) into a weather-protected installation, guarding against bugs and moisture.

Overview

Arlington's surface-mount keypad covers accommodate single-gang, two-gang, or 4x4 boxes — useful where local codes require a box or enclosure for power and low-voltage applications. They use a universal mounting pattern so they can be installed horizontally or vertically, and can also be mounted without a box directly to flat surfaces for low-voltage keypads.

Arlington also offers recessed "IN BOX" keypad enclosures for a lower-profile look, installing easily and securely to a variety of exterior surfaces through four mounting holes, without the need for gaskets. Their one-piece DBLV series enclosures install a power or low-voltage keypad in the wall so less of the enclosure shows outside — only the cover extends beyond the wall.
