    Specification sheet for the Arlington BES1 Non-Metallic Box Extender — a quick fix for shallow electrical boxes that need more depth to fit larger devices like GFCI receptacles.

    Overview

    The BES1 installs directly over an existing shallow electrical box, adding 5/8" of depth and 5.3 cubic inches of volume — without removing the original box. It finishes flush with any standard or mid-size wall plate and is paintable to match surrounding trim.
