    Cut sheet for the ACNC/TotalPlex® DP29-SW/IM Telephone Keypad Relay Trigger — a single device combining two former products (DP29-SW and DP29-IM) that modifies your telephone keypad to enhance a DoorBell Fon door entry system, selectable via jumper settings.

    Description

    • DP29-SW (Door Strike Controller): An Outbound Relay Trigger Controller that provides dry contact closure off the star (*) key, or another key selected via DIP switch S1 — great for triggering any electrical device from your telephone keypad.
    • DP29-IM (Intercom Module): Converts all phones in your home or office into an intercom system using your existing phones and wiring. No new wiring, additional connections, or programming required.

    Features

    • Compact footprint mounts in any structured wiring cabinet or on a wall
    • Jumper 4 selects between NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) switch behavior (default: NO)
    • S1 DIP switch selects which keypad button triggers the device (default: the * key)
    • No external power source required
    • Simple series wiring with the Door Station
    • Jumpers 5 and 6 can be removed to switch the device between DP29-SW and DP29-IM modes

    DP29-SW Specific

    • Operates any electrical device at 1.0A @ 125VAC or 2.0A @ 30VDC
    • Provides 3+ seconds of dry contact using the selected phone key (holding the key extends contact time)

    DP29-IM Specific

    • Intercom call initiated by pressing a keypad button
    • No programming required; compatible with wireless phones
    • Only one unit needed to operate all phones in the system
