    Quick reference guide for the ABB-Welcome Video Indoor Station 4.3" Wi-Fi (M22401-W / M2240x-W series) — the touch-panel indoor unit for the ABB-Welcome door communication system.

    Controls & Operation

    • 4.3" IPS screen — displays the caller's video feed and settings menus.
    • Communication button — while a call is coming in, press within 30 seconds to answer; press again to end the call.
    • Programmable button — can be set to release the 2nd lock of the outdoor station, call the guard unit, place an intercom call, or control a switch actuator.
    • Unlock button — press at any time to open the door. Hold for more than 3 seconds to enable auto-unlock (the door opens automatically on an incoming call).
    • Mute button — in standby mode, silences the ringtone of this indoor station.
    • Surveillance button — in standby mode, view the outdoor station and any external cameras.
    • Setting button — press to enter setting mode.
    • Microphone and speaker — for two-way audio during calls.

    Connection & Configuration

    • Outdoor station selector switch — sets the address of the default outdoor station.
    • Indoor station selector switch — selector X10 sets the tens digit, X1 sets the units digit, and DIP switches X100/X200 set the hundreds digit of the station address.
    • Master/slave function switch — only one indoor station per apartment can be set as "Master" (ON = Master); other stations in the same apartment must be set as slave.
    • Terminal resistor switch — in video installations or mixed audio/video installations, set to "RC on" (ON = RC on) on the last device on the line.
    • Bus connector (a, b) — connects to the ABB-Welcome system bus.
    • Potential-free contact — for connecting a doorbell pushbutton.
    • Local power supply connector — for M22403-W only.
