    Intended Use

The 83110-... audio integration unit is an integral part of the ABB-Welcome door communication system and operates exclusively with components from this system. The device must only be installed in suitable housings such as flush-mounted letter boxes or door systems.

    Connection of Modules

For pure audio systems with up to 8 doorbell push-buttons, only the audio integration unit assembly (83110-...) is required. For video systems, or systems with more than 8 participants/units, the connection of a camera module (83501-...) and/or one or more push-button extensions (83111-...) is required. Via the push-button extensions, ABB-Welcome systems with up to 99 doorbell buttons can be assembled.

Important wiring note: The "0" clamps of the button inputs of the audio module 83110-... and the push-button extension(s) 83111-... must NOT be connected together. A maximum of 8 push-button extensions can be connected to one audio integration unit. Of the 104 button inputs made available this way, only the first 99 are addressed — the last 5 button inputs are ignored and cannot be used.

    Installation

For optimum tone quality, ensure the module is seated correctly and firmly. Press the microphone against the microphone adjuster (position 7) directly against the voice/speaker plate.
