Installation and operation instructions for the ABB TH-1.1 Thermostat, part of the ABB-free@home™ home automation system — controls temperature and humidity in a house or apartment via wireless mesh connection to a free@home System Access Point (SysAP).
WARNING: Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC installer or electrical professional. Improper installation can cause property damage, personal injury, or loss of life. Leave this document with the homeowner for future reference.
The Thermostat is used as part of the ABB-free@home system to control temperature and humidity in a house or apartment. For details on the many functions of this device, see the system manual at www.abb.com/freeathome.
Optional accessory (not included): Trim Plate TH-TP-1-WH — hides holes/marks left by the old thermostat.
IMPORTANT: The ABB Thermostat does NOT work with 120V or higher. If the existing thermostat is labeled 120V or 240V, has thick black wires with wire nuts, or has L1/L2 terminal blocks — do NOT connect the device!
