User guide for the 360 Electrical Loft Surge Protector (Model #360301) — a 6-outlet surge protector with horizontal AC outlets and advanced surge protection circuitry.

Overview

The Loft Surge Protector provides surge protection for connected electronics via an internal metal oxide varistor (MOV). When wall voltage exceeds 120V (standard), the MOV acts as a relief valve, diverting excess voltage away from sensitive electronics.

• Center mounting screw for securely anchoring the unit in the wall socket, including decorator-style outlets

Installation

1. Remove the screw from the wallplate covering your wall outlet — hold the wallplate in place, don't remove it.
2. Align the Loft's plug with the top wall socket. If your outlet is installed upside down or horizontally, flip the Loft to match.
3. Make sure the mounting screw on the Loft is aligned with the hole in the wallplate, then use a Phillips screwdriver to firmly secure the Loft in place (don't overtighten).
4. If your wall outlet is "decorator-style," remove the mounting screw by holding the small red tab in place and backing the screw out with a screwdriver; this will allow the Loft to fit that outlet style.
5. Plug your devices into the Loft, then plug the Loft into a grounded wall outlet.

Safety Warnings

• For indoor use only — do not use near water.
• Do not plug an extension cord, power strip, wall tap, or multi-outlet adapter into the Loft.
• Only plug into a grounded (3-hole) outlet.
• Do not plug in devices that exceed the unit's electrical ratings.
• Do not use with a heater, generator, convection oven, conventional oven, microwave, sump pump, water-related device, life support device, medical device, or vehicle battery charger.
• Do not attempt to alter or repair the unit.
• Stop using the Loft if either the "Protected" or "Grounded" indicator light is not illuminated.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

360 Electrical warrants to the verified original purchaser that the Model #360301 Surge Protector will be free from defects in craftsmanship, materials, assembly, or design for the life of the product. Should a defect occur, 360 Electrical will repair or replace the unit at no cost. This warranty does not cover acts of God, war, vandalism, theft, normal wear and tear, obsolescence, abuse, brownout/sag damage, or equipment alteration.

Connected Equipment Limited Warranty

360 Electrical's Connected Equipment Warranty covers equipment damaged or destroyed by a "Power Disruption" (a brief voltage spike/surge on the AC power line) while properly connected to a properly wired AC power line with protective ground. Coverage is up to a maximum of $100,000 for Model 360301. 360 Electrical will, at its discretion, authorize repair, provide an equivalent replacement, or reimburse the present fair market value of the damaged equipment.

This warranty does not apply if: the equipment was not properly connected; the damage occurred via phone, network, or coaxial lines; the unit was improperly opened, installed, or tampered with; the damage was not from an actual Power Disruption; or the unit was not used per instructions. Claims must be made within 15 days of the Power Disruption.

How to Make a Claim

Visit 360electrical.com, or:

1. Mail the Surge Protector (at your expense) to the address below.
2. Provide the part number for the Surge Protector.
3. Mail (if applicable, at your expense) the damaged connected equipment.
4. Explain in writing the extent of the damage.
5. Provide the date of the occurrence.
6. Provide a copy of the original purchase receipt for the Surge Protector and damaged equipment.
7. State when and where the purchases were made (if not clearly marked on the receipt).
8. Provide evidence of damage to the connected equipment (photos, the equipment itself, etc.).
