This enclosure is perfect for in-home structured wiring systems as a new installation or retrofit. It's made out of durable ABS polymer material, which permits wireless signals to travel without interference, unlike standard metal enclosures. Its 14-inch height is ideal for added equipment space and it allows installation of two single j-boxes, as well as all Leviton structured media panels, modules, brackets, and mounting plates. This wireless structured media enclosure can be surface-mounted or recessed using wall studs on 16 inch centers or wood screws (not provided) for a clean and professionally finished appearance.
