Remotely Control Your HDMI Device From Another Room

How It Works
The IR Over HDMI Adapter consists of two adapter units, one IR transmitter, and one IR receiver. The two adapters fit onto both ends of your HDMI cable and then plug into your two HDMI components (source and display). This keeps your devices connected while enabling connection of the IR transmitter and IR receiver.
Sample Application
The IR receiver connects to the adapter at the HDMI display device. When you want to control the HDMI source with your remote, you will point the remote at the IR receiver, which receives IR remote control commands and passes them along the HDMI cable to the adapter at the other end, near the HDMI source. The IR transmitter (connected to the other adapter) sits in front of the source's own IR receiver and retransmits your commands to the source. The IR transmitter and receiver each have a 4.5-foot (1.45m) cord for installation versatility.
The IR Over HDMI Adapter is compatible with other Seco-Larm Enforcer products (sold separately): 4x1 HDMI Switch (MVS-AH41-01NQ), 1x4 HDMI Splitter (MVD-AH14-01NQ), and 4x4 HDMI Matrix (MVM-AH44-01YQ).
