Improve the style, security, and accessibility of your front door with the Yale Pro 2 Key Free Pushbutton Keypad Lock with Z-Wave Plus 700. This Z-Wave 500 series compatible smart lock replaces the existing lock and deadbolt of your entryway door and provides 3 keyless methods of locking and unlocking your door: entering a 4-8 digit passcode into the pushbutton keypad, Auto Unlock & Auto Lock via proximity detection, or remotely accessing using virtual ekeys through the Yale Access app or the mobile app of a compatible Z-Wave hub. From the Yale Access or connected Z-Wave app you can check on the lock's real time status, receive notifications when the lock is used, and decide who can unlock your door and when through a compatible mobile app. The keyless design of this smart lock removes the possibility of lockpicking, ensuring only approved family members or guests can enter your home through the front door. Additional features include battery backup support, optional voice control, integration with select smart home or smart security hubs, and IPX5 Coastal Grade Rating and 90 Minute Fire Rating which ensure the lock can continue to operate during rainy weather or in fire related emergencies.

Enjoy Hands-Free Access with Auto-Lock and Auto-Unlock
The Yale Pro 2 Lock offers hands-free operation through its smart Auto-Unlock and Auto-Lock features. When your mobile device enters Bluetooth proximity range of the Yale Pro 2 Lock and the included DoorSense Sensor, the lock will automatically unlock for easy entry. Once inside and after closing the door, the lock can automatically lock itself once your mobile device leaves Bluetooth range or after a set period of time. This hands-free operation helps when bringing in groceries or large packages or groups of people, and ensures you don't forget to lock the door when coming or leaving.

Know Your Door's Status with DoorSense
The Yale Pro 2 Lock includes a Yale DoorSense Sensor which tracks the precise location and status of your door. The small magnetic DoorSense Sensor mounts onto or within your door frame to report to the connected Z-Wave app or the Yale Access app, whether your door is open or closed and if the Yale Pro 2 Lock is engaged or unlocked. The DoorSense Sensor assists Auto-Lock and Auto-Unlock features by ensuring that the door is in the correct position before the lock re-engages or unlocks itself.
Share Passcodes for Keyed Operation
The Yale Pro 2 Lock allows owners and guests to input 4-8 digit codes to unlock the door. Up to 500 codes can be created and shared with guests, family members, and renters. Owners can schedule when codes are valid for greater access control over your building. Valid codes can be limited to certain days of the week or windows of time on a given day.

This Yale Lock can be remotely controlled from the Yale Access mobile app or the relative mobile app of a compatible Z-Wave hub or controller. The apps utilize your mobile device's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi transmitters to provide smart access to your Yale lock, including enabling you to remotely lock/unlock your door, share access with others, and keep track of the lock's activity through saved records and real-time alerts, integration into home automation systems and smart scenes, and enabling voice control compatibility with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri.
As a part of a larger Z-Wave network, a Z-Wave hub's app will allow you to include the Yale Pro 2 Lock into smart automation or security scenes to work in tandem with other Z-Wave compatible devices on the network. Accessing the Yale Pro 2 Lock can trigger various automated functions, including turning On/Off lights and home entertainment systems, activating security devices when locking the door or deactivating security devices when unlocking the door, and more.
Designed for use with most standard hinge and pivot doors, the deadbolt installs on left or right handed doors measuring 1-3/8 to 2-1/4 inches thick. All the necessary hardware is included, along with a template for door preparation and detailed instructions.
The deadbolt is powered by four (4) AA batteries, which are included and should last for up to 3 months. The deadbolt can also support a 9V backup battery. A Yale Smart Network Module (Z-Wave Plus 700 Smart Module included) easily snaps in above the batteries. When the battery is low, or wrong codes are entered, or the lock is tampered with, an alert is triggered.
