Immediately know the power consumption of your connected devices with the Shelly EM Gen3 50A. This smart energy meter installs behind a wall outlet/switch and can use up to two current transformers for contact-free metering (only one 50A CT is included). When connected to a device it will monitor the energy usage and send the data directly to a mobile phone, tablet, PC, or home automation system. With Wi-Fi connectivity, this energy meter can be controlled, accessed, and monitored remotely from anywhere an Internet connection is available. Plus, it can work as a standalone device in a local Wi-Fi network or via cloud automation services. The included 50A current transformer enables contact-free monitoring, making it ideal for tracking individual circuits, appliances, or energy generation sources.

The Shelly EM Gen3 50A has a small form factor and features a dry contact relay for contactor control, single-phase two-channel energy measurement via current transformers, and internal storage for data logging of up to 10 days at 1-minute intervals. The dry contact output can be used to control external contactors for various load types, including resistive loads (incandescent bulbs and heating devices), capacitive loads (LED light drivers, capacitor banks, electronic equipment, motor start capacitors), and inductive loads (transformers, fans, refrigerators, air-conditioners). Ideal for smart homes, light commercial environments, and energy management applications, the Shelly EM Gen3 50A provides accurate energy monitoring to help make informed decisions that reduce energy consumption and improve overall efficiency.
