ABBM21351KA
The ABB Video Outdoor Station with Keypad is a pre-assembled custom outdoor station for the ABB Door Entry System, facilitating quicker installation for common applications. The four-module station includes the Audio Module with Speech Synthesis (M251024A-A), Camera Module (M251021C), Keypad Module (M251021K-A), and Display Module with Card Reader (M251021CR/M251022CR), as well as the required 4-module Aluminum Faceplate (51024CF-A). This configuration allows a visitor to initiate a call with an indoor station/residence by entering a call code or choosing a name in the directory, to talk with the resident, and to unlock a connected door lock with a proximity card/tag, while the resident can view visitors through the camera from a video indoor station.
Audio Module Features
With a built-in speaker and microphone hidden behind a solid aluminum face (no speaker holes), the Audio Module provides two-way communication with indoor stations and can optionally trigger an output in your ABB Door Entry System. Communication can be established either by the resident at an indoor station, or by the visitor upon pressing the built-in pushbutton. This model also supports speech synthesis, allowing it to play a custom voice message according to system status.
When a visitor initiates a call to an indoor station, one of the Audio Module's three status LEDs indicates whether the call is successfully made or the system is busy. If the call is successful, the call LED illuminates. A second LED illuminates when communication is possible, and the third LED illuminates if the resident has remotely unlocked a connected door for the visitor to enter.
The module allows you to connect an electric lock for remote door unlocking. No independent power supply is needed for the lock. A second terminal for a second lock is also available. The lock release time is adjustable for security.
Keypad Module Features
The 16-button aluminum keypad lets you attach a calling code and/or a calling name to each indoor station or each entire residence/office in the system. This allows a visitor to easily call the precise location desired. They can either enter a known calling code, or search through your directory of names at the included Display Module to find the person/location they need to call.
To initiate a call through the keypad, a visitor will first need to enter a password if you have set a password (optional). Passwords can be either universal/public or customized for individuals (supports up to 6,000). If a visitor repeatedly enters an incorrect password, the keypad will lock.
Upon entering a correct password, the visitor can begin to initiate a call by either entering a calling code or choosing the desired name to call. A name can be chosen either by inputting letters of the name or by searching through the directory and choosing a name.
The keypad may be programmed to initiate the call either automatically once a code/name is entered, or manually by pressing the (1) button after entering the code/name.
The keypad has 16 buttons total, including:
Camera Module Features
The live video feed from this wide-angle camera can be viewed anytime through a video indoor station (sold separately). Built-in IR lighting ensures you can see clear images even at night, and a built-in heater prevents fog from covering the lens and obscuring your view. Furthermore, the camera's scratch-resistant and fire-resistant finish helps prevent vandalism.
Display Module Features
The screen displays digital customized messages, codes, or names, perfect for use with the included Keypad Module. Additionally, the built-in card reader can be used to unlock a connected door lock or trigger a third-party Wiegand access controller. When a visitor or resident waves an authorized proximity card/tag (sold separately) in front of the module, the lock/controller is activated.
The reader is compatible with third-party NFC/IC cards and tags, not included. Choose between either an ID card reader or an IC card reader. The ID model is compatible with third-party cards using the 125nKHz frequency, while the IC model works with cards using the 13.56 MHz frequency.
Through the on-screen display menu, you can locally register/delete up to 3,000 different cards/tags. When connected to the Audio Module, the card reader can also trigger different sounds, one for an accepted card and another for a rejected card.
The ABB Video Outdoor Station connects to the System Controller (sold separately) using two wires, and installs into a 4-gang ABB Flush Mounted Box (model 41024F, sold separately). After the modules are wired into the Door Entry System, they simply snap into the box, and the included faceplate snaps over them onto the box. The box can be flush- or surface-mounted with accessories.
Please note, in order to distribute video to multiple video indoor stations, a Video Distributor is required (model M2304, sold separately).
NOTE: Requires 2-wire connection to a System Controller, sold separately. Also requires use with a video indoor station, sold separately. Installation hardware and proximity cards/tags not included.
Also known as the "Welcome" system, the Door Entry System is a first-of-its-kind modular intercom and access control system that offers one flexible solution for any intercom and entry security application. Customizable, nearly endlessly scalable, and easy to install, the system is perfect for any building, from a small single-family home to a huge residential complex.

How to Build Your System
Every ABB Door Entry System needs at least two components: a System Controller (either standard or mini) and an Audio Module (any variation). With these two foundational components, the system can be expanded and customized as needed. Additional system components may include:
Other accessories are also available for installation and connection. Most notably, in order to build a custom modular outdoor station, you will need to select the modules you wish to include in the station, and then match the number of modules to the appropriate size Flush-Mounted Box and Faceplate. (Flush-mounted boxes support optional surface-mounting in addition to flush-mounting. When surface-mounting, a Rain Hood is also required; only optional when surface-mounting.) The screwless, snap-on design of both outdoor and indoor stations makes installation a breeze.
