Ensure Your Thermostat is Properly Wired
Ensure your thermostat or other HVAC applications are properly wired with the AprilAire 3-to-4 Wire Adapter. This adapter module mounts inside your HVAC unit or control box and provides space for additional wiring to be run between HVAC devices. The adapter can also be used in applications to add a common wire to a 4-wire system or to provide space to fix a broken wire. The adapter includes a Y diode that connects the two devices and relays their signals through one wire to the adaptor's circuit board. This eliminates the need for an extra wire.
