Integrate wireless devices into a traditional structured wiring system without sacrificing signal range by housing components in the On-Q/Legrand Plastic Enclosure with Hinged Door. Unlike standard metal enclosures that inhibit signal range, this lightweight ABS plastic enclosure features "wireless transparency" to minimize interference for any wireless device, such as a wireless access point (WAP) or router.

• Hinged door and trim add 1.2" of depth, adding extra room for cables and third party devices
• Includes 2 electrical knockouts on bottom and five 2" cable knockouts on top
• Meets or exceeds the standards of UL Standard 2416

The On-Q/Legrand Plastic Enclosure features a universal mounting grid within, allowing you to mount video, voice, data distribution, and other structured wiring modules from various manufacturers. The enclosure surface-mounts or mounts flush to the stud bay and both the enclosure and door are optionally paintable to match the home's interior.

The durable ABS plastic hinged door and trim are slightly larger than the enclosure, effectively hiding rough drywall edges to create a clean, professional appearance. The design also allows for extra headroom for cables and space for third party devices. Locking can be accommodated with the provided screw holes or optional keyed lock (part # 364478-01, sold separately).
