Designed for fire-protective signaling circuits, this Fire Alarm Wire (14AWG, 2C, FPLP Plenum Rated, 500') offers insulated solid bare copper conductors in an unshielded twisted pair configuration. This wire is suitable for riser use on fire control stations, smoke detection, voice communications, supervisory and all associated systems. Plenum rated for use in air circulation spaces, the wire's PVC jacket meets low smoke and low flame requirements to reduce the spread of flames in the event of fire. It comes in boxes of 500 feet, and includes a ripcord and the SCP Cable Labeling System with sequential foot/meter markings and room/zone/outlet designations for easy identification.
