The Resideo L5 Wi-Fi Actuator easily attaches onto your property"s water main and will automatically shut off the water flow when water is detected by the water sensor cable that connects to the actuator or from the included L1 Wi-Fi Water Leak Detector. Install multiple Water Leak Detectors to cover your entire property and place them in areas that are more susceptible to water leaks and floods such as under sinks, around toilets, near water heaters and washers, or under other appliances. The L5 Wi-Fi Water Leak Shutoff Valve can be connected and controlled with the Resideo App (for iOS and Android devices). The Resideo App works as a water leak detection control panel where you"ll be able to set up notifications, customize alerts, and pre-set shutoff locations.

The Resideo L5 Wi-Fi Actuator connects to your home Wi-Fi network to give you full control over your valve. It includes a 10 ft. power adapter, a metal clip for attaching the device to the water ball valve, and a 5 ft. add-on rope sensor. You can even expand the detection range up to 500 ft. by linking additional Resideo Rope Sensors. Other design features include a manual override lever for emergencies, a power button to control the valve and initiate Bluetooth pairing, an LED indicator to display connectivity and valve status, and an ISO flange valve interface and an Auxiliary Input. The Resideo L5 is available in NPT Ball Valve sizes of 1", 1/2", 1-1/4", and 3/4".

The included L1 Wi-Fi Water Leak and Freeze Detector provides advanced leak awareness by sending you notifications to your smartphone whenever leaks or frozen pipes are detected; plus, the device has a built-in LED and 100 dBA alarm that will also activate for visual and audible alerts. Included with the L1 detector is a 5 ft. cable sensor that can detect water along the entire length. You can expand water leak coverage on your property by adding additional L1 devices or extending sensor cables to cover up to 500 ft. The sensor cable is also reusable, which means you can reset the L1 after it detects water by allowing the cable to completely dry – once it"s dry, just plug it back in so it can be used again.
