This smart flood sensor includes an extendable leak sensor cable (2m) that can cover small to large areas to detect water leaks the moment they occur. The sensor supports two modes: Flood Detection and Rain Detection, comes with three built-in flood alarms (Intense, Normal, and Economic), and is designed with multiprotocol connectivity for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Matter, making it ideal for integration into smart home systems. The Shelly Flood Gen4 is also battery powered and IP44 rated against splashing water for added protection. It can be placed in areas that are prone to water leaks such as under water or heat pipes, fridges and freezers, washing machines, and basement and bathrooms floors. You can also pair it with a Shelly 1 Gen4 that's connected to an electronically controlled motorized ball valve to allow the system to automatically shut off your home's main water supply as soon as a leak is detected. Additionally, you can control and manage the Shelly Flood Gen4, as well as set up notifications via the Shelly Smart Control app (for iOS and Android devices).
