Manage access to your home, and track who comes and goes, from anywhere you have internet access by using the August Connect Wi-Fi Bridge with your August Home Smart Lock (sold separately). This wireless plug-in Bluetooth to WiFi bridge connects to your home Wi-Fi network and the August app for Android and iOS to keep you informed on your Smart Lock's status. Using the August app, you can check the lock's status any time, lock and unlock your door, and receive alerts whenever the status of your lock changes.
The August Connect Wi-Fi Bridge plugs into a power outlet near your August Smart Lock and connects to your home Wi-Fi network. August Connect Bluetooth to WiFi bridge should be installed within 30 feet of your August Smart Lock; within 15 feet is recommended for optimal performance and reliability.
