The supply/charger is protected by fused battery outputs, input polarity protection diodes, and backup battery polarity reverse protection. All of these protection features not only help prevent shock hazards or circuits from being damaged, but also maximize the security of just about any alarm/access control installation. The enclosure has enough space to accommodate 2 backup batteries (two 4Ah or one 7Ah, sold separately).
