Used with any compatible control panel/receiver (319.5 MHz wireless frequency), such as a GE/Interlogix Panel (NetworX, Simon, etc.) or a Qolsys IQ Panel, this wireless, battery-powered Qolsys smoke detector uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke particles, while an integrated heat sensor detects the rapid rise in heat that can come from a fire, ensuring an alarm when a fire is present even if smoke does not reach the wireless heat detector. It also features Chirp Control technology, which silences fault chirps up to 12 hours as well as nuisance alarms up to 10 minutes. This helps prevent annoyance from continuous chirps while you fix issues and avoids unnecessary loud alarms for non-dangerous triggers all while keeping the detector working and ready to alarm if needed.
