Learn Immediately When Water Leaks Occur

Know immediately when a water leak has occurred with the ELK Wireless Water Alert Sensor, 319.5 MHz. This water sensor is specially designed to detect water in areas of a property where water leakage is most probable, such as in a bathroom or kitchen, under a sink, or on the floor next to a water heater or washing machine. This water alert sensor is compatible with the E27 Alarm Engine, M1 Controls, and any other alarm control system that supports 319.5 MHz wireless devices. This water sensor also comes with a tamper switch located inside the transmitter and (2) CR2032 3VDC lithium coin-cell batteries.

The Elk Wireless Water Alert Sensor consists of a water probe that's attached to a transmitter with a 6 ft. cable. The transmitter mounts on a wall or other flat vertical surface while the remote probe is placed on the floor in an area where water could collect due to a leakage. When moisture forms a bridge between the two metallic contacts on the remote probe, the unit will signal an alarm. Additionally, even though the sensor is sensitive to water it will not set an alarm due to high humidity or condensation build up.

NOTE: The ELK-319WA water sensor is not a self-contained warning sensor device. For proper operation, it must be used in conjunction with a compatible learn-mode 319.5 MHz alarm control panel.
