The On-Q/Legrand 6 Port Network Interface Module (P/N AC1000) provides a convenient structured interconnect for residential networking applications. The Network Interface Module has six Cat5e rated RJ45 connectors which are typically connected (punched down) to room locations. Services such as Internet access over a switch/router are then jumpered to the locations using the front panel jacks (jumpers available separately).
The module comes with a bracket and is typically mounted in any On-Q Service Center Enclosure. In addition, mounting can be done using the Bay style for higher density applications in multi-bay brackets.
