Set A Time To Turn Off Lights At Home Automatically

Set your lights or an appliance to turn off automatically within 60 minutes by installing the Leviton Decora In-Wall Countdown Timer Switch (10, 20, 30, 60 Min). This in-wall auto-Off timer can easily be installed by replacing a standard wall switch. It adds four preset timer buttons and a single Off button. To extend the On time, simply press and hold the timer button. To manually turn the load Off, press the Off button. This timer switch can control LED, CFL, incandescent, halogen, magnetic low voltage, electronic low voltage, fluorescent, fans, or motor loads. It functions as a single-pole switch (15 Amp, 120 VAC) and is ideal for a variety of applications such as porch and landscape lighting, interior lights, bathroom exhaust fans, heat lamps, pool pumps, saunas, attic fans, small closets, basements, garages and more.

The Timer indicates how much time is left through LEDs alongside each button. When you choose a countdown time, the LED next to that button lights up, as well as any LEDs below it. As time passes, the lights will go out. For example, if you press the 30Min button, the three LEDs next to the 10Min, 20Min, and 30Min buttons will light up. After 10 minutes pass, the 30Min LED will go out, while the 10Min and 20Min LEDs remain lit.

Notes

• Wallplate sold separately.
• Can be installed with or without a neutral wire. Ground wire is required.
• Do not use it to control lights if there is no other light source in the space.
