This Z-Wave multisensor also boosts home security by activating connected lights when motion is detected in the dark, providing better illumination for your cameras and enhancing recorded footage. Furthermore, once the TriSensor is paired with a compatible Z-Wave controller, the Aeotec Multisensor 800 Series can send alerts to your smartphone if motion is detected while you're away.

Temperature: Maintain the ideal room temperature and conserve energy by using the Z-Wave multisensor's temperature sensor to communicate with and trigger other Z-Wave devices, such as a Z-Wave thermostat or motorized window coverings. Each Aeotec TriSensor 8 features a precise temperature sensor that measures temperatures ranging from 14° to 122°F (-10° to 50°C) and reports significant changes to your Z-Wave controller.

Ambient Light: Automate your Z-Wave-controlled lights with the Z-Wave multisensor. Its built-in digital light sensor detects ambient light levels from 0 to 3,000 lux, allowing you to program Z-Wave lights and curtains to create the ideal ambiance at any time of day. Additionally, the Aeotec TriSensor 8 can turn off lights in rooms when no motion is detected, reducing energy consumption and lowering utility costs.

Installation Details

The Aeotec Z-Wave Plus TriSensor 8 Multi-Sensor comes with a mounting arm for installation on a wall or in a corner with freedom to adjust and rotate the sensor. The Z-Wave 800 Series Multisensor can also be placed on a desk, kitchen counter, table, or flat surface.
