Automate and enhance your indoor lighting control with the JascoPro Series Z-Wave Plus In-Wall Smart Dimmer Toggle Switch, 700 Series. This smart dimmer toggle switch works with most dimmable LED, CFL, halogen and all incandescent lights and provides manual control as well as Z-Wave Plus remote control (On/Off/Dim/Brighten) for a wired light or appliance. As a Z-Wave 700 device, it utilizes the latest Z-Wave features including a faster processor for quicker transmissions, larger memory for more complex automations, and greater energy efficiency when controlling devices and communicating with a Z-Wave hub. The toggle dimmer switch can be installed in single or multi-way wired applications to work in tandem with up to 4 JascoPro series add-on switches in 3, 4, 5 or 6-way wiring configurations. The toggle switch can also be included in multiple automation groups or scenes and features a multicolor LED backlit toggle design that can work as an indicator light to inform you of its location in the dark as well as the switch's status.

This Z-Wave Plus Smart Toggle Dimmer Switch is also designed with QuickFit and SimpleWire features:

QuickFit: Provides a housing that's smaller by 20% with no break-off tabs to remove, which is ideal for older-style switch boxes, multi-gang configurations, or any other application with limited space.

SimpleWire: Auto-detects line/load terminals, making installation easier and quicker by detecting line and load wires and configuring the dimmer accordingly. It also features an offset dual ground terminal to avoid switch box mounting screws.

Z-Wave 700 Series / Z-Wave Plus v2 Certification

Z-Wave Plus v2 is an upgraded Z-Wave certification program to help you identify products that take advantage of the latest Z-Wave hardware platform, also known as 700 Series or Gen7 Z-Wave. Z-Wave Plus v2 compatible devices include extended wireless range up to 1300 ft/400 m outdoors, three layers of encryption, faster operation, and longer battery life.

Installation Details

The Z-Wave Plus In-Wall Smart Toggle Dimmer works with most incandescent, LED, CFL, and halogen lighting. The switch supports single-pole or multi-pole applications, using up to four JascoPro Series model add-on switches in 3, 4, 5 or 6-way wiring configurations. The switch requires standard screw terminal installation with wiring connections for Line (Hot), Load, Neutral, and Ground. Multi-pole installation also requires a neutral wire.
