    Easily Enter Your Home With Virtual Keys

    Add an easier way to gain access into your home by using a smartphone with the Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi Bridge. As the first retrofit smart lock by Yale, the Yale Approach Smart Lock easily installs on the inside of your door by replacing your existing deadbolt and allowing you to keep and use your original physical key. When paired with the included Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge, the smart lock provides keyless access to your property with virtual keys. This allows visitors to unlock your door with a virtual key and the Yale Access app downloaded on their smartphone. The Yale Approach Smart Lock comes in an attractive sleek design to match just about any modern-styled hardware you have installed on your door. It features Auto-Lock with DoorSense technology that enables it to automatically unlock or lock the door when you enter or leave the lock's Bluetooth proximity.

    Included with the Yale Approach Smart Lock is the Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge. This device plugs into a power outlet near your Yale Approach Smart Lock and connects the Yale Smart Lock to the Internet via your Wi-Fi network to enable remote access with the Yale Access app. It should be installed within 15 feet of your Yale Approach Smart Lock for optimal connection and performance conditions, but can maintain a stable connection up to 30 feet away from a paired Smart Lock. Manage both the Yale Approach Lock and the Wi-Fi Bridge through the Yale Access app. Manage and create virtual keys, track who enters or exits, and receive lock status alerts from anywhere with an Internet connection. Additionally, the Connect Wi-Fi Bridge allows for voice control using Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri.

    Works with Alexa Badge. Simply login to your Amazon account through the device app interface. Your device is then instantly available within the Alexa app. Works with Google Home Badge. Simply login to your Google account through the device app interface. Your device is then instantly available within the Google app. Works with Siri Badge. To use Apple Siri with your device, you must first add the device to your home in the iOS Apple HomeKit app. Please follow the recommended procedure from Apple. Following remaining instructions and your device is ready for use within the SmartThings App.
