Replace An Existing Door Intercom with a New IST I2000 Intercom

Install a new IST I2000 Door Intercom into a pre-existing intercom installation with the IST R-I2000 Door Intercom Station and RETRO Adaptor Plate! This intercom installation package includes the IST R-I2000 Door Intercom Station and the new R-I2000AP Adaptor Plate, which allows for IS2000 intercoms to be installed in existing IST RETRO mounting boxes. The IST R-I2000 Door Intercom Station is a weather-resistant door station that is installed outside near your door, replacing an existing doorbell. When a visitor presses the doorbell button, all connected IST intercom stations in your system (Room, Patio, Master) will emit one of two pre-selected doorbell chimes. You can then answer the call from any station. The R-I2000AP Adaptor Plate allows for easier installation of IST I2000 intercoms by offering the option to use pre-existing mounting instead of creating a new mounting location.

Installation Details

The R-I2000 Door Intercom Station mounts in an IST RETRO mounting box (sold separately). The RETRO Adaptor plate is designed to install IST R-I2000D Stations with IST RETRO recessed or surface mount boxes, (all sold separately). The Adaptor Plate affixes between the Intercom Door station and an IST RETRO mounting box.
