Built for durability, the heavy-duty On-Q/Legrand 3-Way Decorator Wall Switch (Construction Grade) is ideal for applications where long-term durability is a must. As a 3-way device, this rocker switch supports installations where two switches are needed for a single light/load, such as a hallway, staircase, etc. (Switches are sold individually.)

The 2603 Construction-Grade 3-Way Decorator Wall Switch features smooth style and quiet operation, provided by its cushioned thermoplastic paddles. For long-lasting durability, the switch has an impact-resistant polycarbonate back body and frame, complemented by a distinctive single rocking butterfly contact, which has fewer moving parts than typical switches to ensure the rocker switch itself performs consistently over years of use. Integrally formed to the butterfly actuator are the switch's silver-alloy contacts combined with heavy-gauge straps, further bolstering durability.

Installation Details

The switch is designed for easy installation and solid connections with its internal screw-pressure-plate back and side wire capability. It requires #14 – #10 stranded or solid copper/copper clad wire, which connects to terminals made of high conductivity brass, serrated for maximum wire gripping.

Additional installation features:

• Integral auto-ground clip for positive ground to metal boxes
• Tri-drive ground, terminal, and mounting screws
• All terminal screws backed out, ready-to-install

NOTE: Wallplate not included; fits standard decorator style wallplates. 3-way operation requires more than one switch; additional switch sold separately.
