Upgrade your motorized shutters, blinds, or awnings with smart Z-Wave control with the Shelly Wave Pro Shutter US Module, Z-Wave 800 & Z-Wave LR. This Z-Wave wired control module mounts directly onto a DIN rail within your breaker box to add remote Z-Wave control over the motor of powered shutters, blinds, rollers, shades and other devices. Completely or partially open or close your connected shutters, blinds, or awnings from your local switch or by using your smart device via Z-Wave remote connections. The Wave Pro Shutter US and its controlled devices can be included into Z-Wave automated scenes such as opening at 7:00am when you wake up and closing at night, or automatically opening/closing when targeted temperatures are reached in order to make your indoors more comfortable. The Wave Pro Shutter US also measures and saves power consumption of the connected device(s) to give you an accurate reading of your motorized device's energy usage to help you save energy and money. The Shelly Wave Pro Shutter US utilizes Z-Wave 800 and Z-Wave LR wireless technology to provide reliable and long range connectivity, increased encryption protection, and easier setup into Z-Wave networks.

Installation Details

The Shelly Wave Pro Shutter US fits on a DIN rail inside a breaker box, and professional installation is required. A neutral wire is required for installation. The Wave Pro Shutter US will automatically attempt to locate and request inclusion into your local Z-Wave network after it is installed. In order to utilize Z-Wave LR communications, a Z-Wave LR compatible gateway or hub is required. Unlike standard Z-Wave mesh protocols, Z-Wave LR works as a star network, connecting a Z-Wave gateway directly to a Z-Wave LR device up to 1 mile (1.6km) away without using any other Z-Wave devices as a signal relay or node.

Z-Wave Plus v3 Certification

Z-Wave Plus v3 is an upgraded Z-Wave certification program to help you identify products that take advantage of the latest Z-Wave hardware platform, also known as 800 Series or Gen8 Z-Wave. Z-Wave Plus v3 compatible devices include extended wireless relay range up to 130 feet (40m) to the nearest Z-Wave device, three layers of encryption, faster operation, and longer battery life.

Z-Wave LR Certification

Z-Wave LR extends Z-Wave connectivity beyond the boundaries of a single building with increased range and coverage and optimized battery life. Z-Wave LR devices operate on a star network topology which features a Z-Wave LR compatible gateway/hub at a central point and then establishes a direct connection to devices. ZWLR compatible devices offer up to 262 ft (80 m) indoor range line of sight and 1 mile (1.6km) outdoor without using any other Z-Wave devices as a signal relay or node. Z-Wave networks can support both Z-Wave LR and traditional Z-Wave nodes can co-exist within the same network, enabling a wide variety and combination of Z-Wave devices and Z-Wave LR devices.
