Start a smart home system with built-in water shut-off controls with the Ezlo Water Shut-Off Valve with Internal Z-Wave Hub, Z-Wave Plus v2, 700 Series. The Smart Water Shut-Off Valve with Z-Wave hub is the first motorized actuator that includes a built-in Z-Wave hub, enabling you to create a smart automation or security system with built-in flood control protection. The Smart Water Shut-Off Valve's Z-Wave Hub is controlled from MiOS or legacy Vera Mobile applications and the MiOS browser dashboard, from which you can monitor Z-Wave devices within your Z-Wave network and configure smart automations to flesh out your smart system. The Smart Water Shut-Off Valve's motorized actuator is designed to work in tandem with an Ezlo Shut-Off Ball Valve (sold separately) to protect your property from water damage by automatically sealing off your water main when triggered by a connected leak or flood sensor. As soon as a water leak is detected, the valve is ordered to immediately close your home's water main, eliminating or minimizing the chance of extensive property damage.

Installation Details

The Ezlo Smart Water Shut-Off Valve with Z-Wave Hub consists of two main components: the Ezlo Ball Valve (sold separately) and the motorized actuator, which includes the Z-Wave Hub. The Ezlo Ball Valve and Smart Water Shut-Off Valve are installed on a main water supply line with help from a professional plumber. In order to make valve installation easier, you can attach the Ball Valve to the water supply line first, then attach the Water Shut-Off Valve with Z-Wave Hub. The Shut-Off Valve is powered by the included plug-in power adapter and connects to your Internet network via Wi-Fi, either 2.4GHz or 5GHz.
