The Elk M1 Lighting, Thermostat, Serial Interface Board (M1XSP) is a 3-in-1 interface module for lighting, thermostats, and serial port expansion.

• As a lighting interface, the board allows the Elk M1 Gold Control Panel to support a range of lighting control products that use serial communications, such as UPB and ALC.
• As a thermostat interface, the board enables integration of communicating thermostats made by RCS, Aprilaire, Leviton Security and Automation, and other advanced thermostat brands.
• As a serial port expander, the interface board expands the RS-232 communication ports of the M1 control panel to support multiple connections to most any type of equipment that communicates using serial ASCII commands, like PCs and whole house subsystems.
